As a member of the Incept IT team, you will be providing technical expertise leveraging Microsoft technologies specifically in the areas of SQL Server and .NET development. The role involves working closely with business analysts, infrastructure team, and client account managers to understand and deliver development requirements. Ensuring work complies with all development standards, frameworks and methodologies and provides high quality deliveries. The role will include addressing internal team members issues/queries & escalation where needed for resolution. The key part of this role will be being part of a team that is driving major updates to our Incept Data Platform.
Job Responsibilities
Work on new product features, setup new customers in the system, and implement updates per customer and internal account management reps.
Develop, maintain, and optimize the internal applications and database systems
Day to day support activities, resolve system bugs, assist business staff with questions, investigate issues
Fully document all processes that are being created
Research, relate and recommend technical solutions and relevant software application tools, utilities, environments and languages.
Work in a cross-functional environment, with other IT professionals, business leaders, and end users of the applications
Technical Skills
3+ years experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
Understanding, writing and tuning complex queries and stored procedures using T-SQL
Experience in developing reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
Experience in developing ETL solutions using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services
Solid understanding of SQL Server security, performance monitoring and optimizing
Demonstrate firm grasp of Data Warehouse concepts (i.e. facts, dimensions, star schema)
Ability to learn and make basic modifications to existing ASP and ASP.NET application code
Experience with version control software (GIT, SVN, TFS, Mercurial)
